Red Sox prospect Jhostynxon Garcia has been in Triple A for just over a week, but has already achieved a level of cultural notoriety that surpasses most prospects: He was featured in a question on “Jeopardy!”
On Monday night, host Ken Jennings tried to stump contestants with this:
“It’s something many use every day to unlock things online and the nickname of Red Sox prospect Jhostynxon Garcia.”
The question, which was provided (accurately, save for the modification from a definite to an indefinite article) by contestant Miles Tepper for $400, was, “What is a password?”
It's not every day one of your players is a clue on @Jeopardy…. 🤯

Garcia is known as The Password because of his unique and difficult-to-spell first name.
He was promoted to Triple-A Worcester last week. In his first six games, he went 10-for-24 with a pair of homers and a . 417/.440/.708 line.
Last season, he regularly made thunderous contact while playing tremendous defense in center field. He hit .286/.356/.536 with a 22 percent strikeout rate, 7 percent walk rate, and 23 homers (most in the Sox system last year year) across three levels, advancing to Portland by the end of the season.
