The summer concert season is starting to heat up, as Gillette Stadium has already played host to a number of top acts this year, including AC/DC, Kendrick Lamar and SZA, plus Post Malone.
But what else is on the horizon at the home of the Revolution and Patriots? And after a pair of last-minute show cancellations by Shakira and Jason Aldean, Fenway Park is still looking to get going with a number of big concerts still to come.
From country stars to emo rockers, here’s your guide to all of the major concerts left on the summer schedule at the Bay State’s pair of iconic outdoor venues.
The Weeknd
The Weeknd will perform back-to-back shows at Gillette in June. The Canadian singer-songwriter returns to Foxborough for the first time since 2022, when he came to town as part of his “After Hours til Dawn” tour. That tour is still going strong as it embarks on another North American leg, with rapper Playboi Carti and special guest Mike Dean joining the Weeknd at Gillette. George Strait
George Strait heads to Gillette midway through his stadium show run this summer, joined by 10-time Grammy winner Chris Stapleton and ACM, CMT, and CMA winner Parker McCollum. According to figures from Billboard, Strait is one of the top-grossing country artists of all time, coming out at well over $500 million from tour revenue alone. Hozier
The so-called “Irish Renaissance” is coming to Fenway with the arrival of folk singer Hozier. This is the third US leg of the musician’s “Unreal, Unearth” tour, and the artist’s first time headlining at Fenway. Hozier will be joined by special guests Gigi Perez and Irish trio Amble. Coldplay
Coldplay hits Gillette in July, the band’s first trip back to the stadium since 2017. Accompanying the group are Nigerian singer-songwriter Ayra Starr and Palestinian and Chilean singer-songwriter Elyanna. The band will perform songs from “Moon Music,” their most recent album, as well as popular songs like “Yellow,” “A Sky Full of Stars,” “Viva La Vida,” and more. The Lumineers
The Lumineers are on a roll as the band continues its five-month tour, which began in late February with a show in Arizona. The tour coincides with the group’s new studio album, “Automatic,” which also dropped in February. The folk duo will serenade Boston audiences at Fenway for two nights, joined by three special guests: Young the Giant, St. Vincent, and Hippocampus. July 17-18, 6:30 p.m. Fenway Park. mlb.com
Thomas Rhett
The country twang in the air will only get stronger as Thomas Rhett brings his “Better in Boots” tour to Fenway Park. The Georgia-born musician’s trip through the US follows the release of his seventh studio album, “About a Woman.” Special guests include genre-bending musician Teddy Swims, country singer Tucker Wetmore, and country trio the Castellows. Morgan Wallen
Morgan Wallen visits Gillette for the first time at the end of August fresh off the release of his new album, “I’m The Problem,” released on May 16. The Grammy-nominated country singer continues to see his star rise, and recently set a new record for most songs to chart simultaneously in a single week on the Billboard Hot 100. The Jonas Brothers
The familiar brotherly trio returns to Boston’s famed ballpark to celebrate 20 years and six studio albums worth of stardom. The Jonas Brothers last visited Boston in 2023 at TD Garden for a stop on their “Five Albums. One Night” eras tour, a venture that sent the siblings across the world with a 60-plus-track setlist. Now, their milestone “JONAS 20: Living the Dream” tour will roll into Fenway, bringing along special guest DJ Marshmello and Andover rock band Boys Like Girls. Aug. 23, 6:30 p.m. Fenway Park. mlb.com
Chris Brown
Controversial R&B artist Chris Brown also celebrates 20 years with a show in the Hub. The singer is set to bring his “Breezy Bowl XX” tour to Fenway in August as he makes his way through North America. The Who
The Who have been rockin’ since 1964, but the London band is about to say goodbye to North America as part of the ”Song Is Over” tour. The group will trek across the United States and Canada this summer, kicking off on Aug. 16 in Florida and closing in Las Vegas on Sept. 28. My Chemical Romance
Even after almost two decades since the band’s hit third studio album first rocked fans’ socks off, My Chemical Romance is still marching with the Black Parade. The emo rockers’ 10-city “Long Live The Black Parade” tour will arrive at Fenway to celebrate their almost 19-year-old rock opera.
