A juvenile driver from Sutton is facing charges in connection with a crash that killed a cyclist in Bellingham on Monday, police said.
At approximately 12:44 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to 120 South Main St., where they found a cyclist who had sustained critical injuries, police said in a statement.
The cyclist, a 60-year-old man from Woonsocket, R.I., was taken to Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
The driver, who remained at the scene, was taken to Milford Regional Medical Center, police said.
The driver, whose name was not released, has been issued a criminal citation for motor vehicle homicide, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and a marked lanes violation, police said.
The crash is under investigation.
