Former Celtics co-owner Jim Pallotta’s Weston home is for sale, and it’s carrying a hefty price tag.
The six-bedroom, 12-bathroom home, which sits on nearly 19 acres, is on the market for $38 million.
The home was built in 2006, but doesn’t look like it.
“When you go in there, there’s nothing that really screams that this was done 15 years ago,” Pallotta’s wife, Kim, told the Wall Street Journal.
“This extraordinary estate is set on one of Weston’s most prestigious enclaves and blends grand architecture with modern luxury, impeccable craftsmanship, and state-of-the-art systems,” the listing on MGS Group Real Estate’s website states. “High ceilings, intricate moldings, and sun-drenched rooms create an atmosphere of timeless elegance.”
The property is listed with Maggie Gold Seelig of MGS Group Real Estate and Mark Doherty of Douglas Elliman.
The main level of the 21,000-square-foot mansion features a chef’s kitchen and family room, large living-dining rooms, two offices, a sunroom, mudroom, multiple bathrooms, a guest suite, and a screened-in porch with a built-in grill and fireplace, according to the listing.
The lower level offers plenty of space for recreation, including a billiards room, bar and gaming area, theater, gym, and wine cellar.
The primary suite includes “large dual dressing rooms” and a “spa-like bath,” according to the listing.
“I have an exceptional closet, which I miss whenever I’m not there,” Kim Pallotta told the Journal.
Outside, there’s an in-ground heated swimming pool, pool house, a four-car garage, and a basketball court, naturally.
She said her husband still likes playing hoops on the outdoor court.
“He’s pretty good,” she said.
