Two 15-year-old boys are facing criminal charges after allegedly robbing a 9-year-old with a replica gun and stealing his cellphone at a park in Dorchester on Thursday evening, officials said.

The teenagers were arraigned Friday in West Roxbury Juvenile Court on charges of robbery and making threats to commit a crime, Suffolk District Attorney Kevin Hayden said in a statement. They were ordered held without bail and dangerousness hearings are scheduled on July 30, the statement said.

The teens’ names were not released because they are minors.

At 6:35 p.m. Thursday, police officers went to Children’s Park on the corner of Intervale and Fernboro streets and spoke to the 9-year-old and another person, who said they were “approached by two males and robbed of their cellphone at gunpoint,’’ police wrote in a report.

The victims told the officers that they were at the park waiting for a cookout to start when they were confronted by the two teenagers, one of whom had a black replica gun with red paint on it.

One of the teenagers pointed the replica gun at them and demanded their shoes and cell phones, while saying the victims “owed them money,’’ police wrote.

“The victims were fearful of the suspects as they were threatened that they ‘would be shot,’’’ police wrote.

The juveniles ran away down Intervale Street towards Blue Hill Avenue, police wrote.

Officers found two individuals who matched the descriptions given by the victims on the corner of Geneva Avenue and Normandy Street, police said. One had an iPhone that “was being called by multiple people’’ and the other had “a black and red replica firearm in his waistband and two replica magazines in both of his front pockets,’’ police wrote.
