Success hurts: Market Basket family feuding again

June 3rd, 2025, 2:41 AM

In light of yet another high-profile kerfuffle involving the Demoulas family regarding finances and the operational management of their ever-expanding Market Basket grocery store chain, one can’t help but wonder (“Again, a Market Basket power struggle,’’ Page A1, May 29). Despite how fortunate the family is relative to the vast majority of all those who are struggling mightily during these very challenging economic times, they apparently are unable to work out their differences amicably and devoid of unflattering media coverage. Perhaps if they all took a step back and reflected on their astounding familial entrepreneurial success, this would put their differences in proper perspective, thus enabling their resolution equitably and without any further acrimony.
