Gianna Bonfilio
Reading, senior The senior led the Rockets in scoring each of the last three years and this season had 21 goals and six assists in a 14-7-1 season. The Middlesex All-Conference selection is a three-time league all-star who will attend UMass Amherst.
Jil Costa
Belmont, junior The Middlesex Liberty MVP was the backbone of the Marauders’ 17-2-4 season and quarterfinals trip, with a .960 save percentage and a 0.90 goals against average. She has 20 shutouts in two high school seasons, with 10 this year.
Kacey Curran
Durfee, senior Playing for the Bishop Stang co-op, the Durfee student provided 25 points and led the Spartans to their first D1 state championship game. Curran is also a field hockey All-Scholastic, which she will play at Westfield State.
Ava Enright
Boston Latin, senior The versatile captain split time between defense and forward and paced the Wolfpack with 17 goals and 23 points, earning MV/DC All-Conference honors for the third time. A two-time All-Scholastic, Enright will attend Boston College.
Giovanna Gulinello
Billerica, senior The MV/DC Large MVP had 14 goals and 17 assists for the Indians in a 15-6 season. The two-year captain finished with 99 points and three league all-star nods. A three-sport athlete, she will play hockey at Johnson & Wales.
Grace Johnson
Andover, senior A stalwart on the Golden Warriors’ blue line, the senior provided nine goals and 15 assists, earning MV/DC All-Conference honors. Johnson is a two-time league all-star and a National Honor Society member. She will play at Williams.
Parker Kathan
Medfield, freshman In her second varsity season, the blueliner registered 12 goals and 14 assists, helping power the Warriors’ run from the No. 13 seed to the program’s first state title. Kathan is also a U14 National Champion with the Boston Jr. Eagles.
Kayla Leonard
Marshfield, senior With 23 goals and 12 assists, Leonard led the Rams on a second-straight tourney run to the Division 2 semifinal. She is a four-time Patriot League All-Star, a 100-point scorer, and also plays lacrosse. She will play at Manhattanville.
Talia Martucci
Winthrop, senior The Northeast Conference MVP had 19 goals and 21 assists for the Vikings. The three-time league all-star closes her career with 140 points and is Winthrop’s all-time assist record holder. She will play at Salem State next year.
Kate McLeish
Archbishop Williams, senior In less than two seasons, McLeish went from fourth-string goalie to Catholic Central MVP, posting an 18-5-2 record and 1.00 goals against average as the Bishops made the Division 1 quarterfinals. She will attend Merrimack.
Georgia Murray
Bishop Feehan, sophomore The Catholic Central League Offensive Player of the Year set a program record with 58 points, giving her 81 in two years. Murray is a National Honor Society student who also plays varsity soccer for the Shamrocks.
Alyse Mutti
Peabody, senior Mutti set a program record with 11 shutouts this winter and 31 in her career, posting a 1.03 goals against average. A two-time All-Scholastic and National Honor Society student, she will play ice hockey and field hockey at Anna Maria.
Sami Norton
Duxbury, senior The captain recorded seven goals and 20 assists from the blue line for the 15-6-2 Dragons, and was often relied on for shutdown defense. The high honor roll student is a two-time state champion and two-time Patriot League All-Star.
Shea Richardson
Hingham, sophomore A consistent contributor from the blue line, the Patriot League All-Star had eight goals and 23 assists for the Division 1 state champion Harborwomen. Also a Patriot League Sportsmanship Award winner, she’s an honor roll student.
Casey Roth
Falmouth, senior The Clippers’ all-time leading scorer notched 22 goals and 21 assists this season to give her 146 points in her career. Roth is a two-time All-Scholastic, a four-time Cape & Islands All-Star, and will play at Rivier next year.
Sabrina Stone
Milton, junior The Bay State Herget MVP recorded 27 goals and 16 assists as the Wildcats won 16 of their final 19 games and made their first Division 2 title game since 2008. The honor roll student also plays field hockey and lacrosse.
Kate Sullivan
Woburn, senior Her steady presence on the blue line led the Tanners to a 15-7-1 record and the Division 2 quarterfinals. The two-time Middlesex All-Conference selection had 21 points, is top 10 in her class academically, and will play at Bowdoin.
Julianna Taylor
North Andover, senior Finishing her career with an astonishing 2,319 saves, the four-year starter made 691 stops in her final season, leading HPNA to the Division 1 semifinals. The MV/DC All-Conference selection had a 1.20 goals against average.
Caitlyn Tremblay
Burlington, senior Pacing the state’s smallest roster with 19 goals and 41 assists, Tremblay was the Middlesex Freedom MVP. An MIAA Sportsmanship Award winner, and the program’s second all-time leading scorer (184 points), she’ll attend Salve Regina.
Sarah White
Notre Dame (Hingham), senior The two-year captain’s 28 points paced the Cougars to a 14-4-3 finish against the toughest schedule in the state. White is a 100-point scorer, a four-year President’s List student, and will attend Virginia in the fall.
