Brookline, senior Also a cross-country All-Scholastic, the senior claimed the 1,000 meters at the Bay State championships (2:35.65) and D1 championships (2:34.28), before placing third at the Meet of Champions (2:31.61). He will run at UMass.
Nate Assa
Marblehead, senior The Purdue-bound senior set a 19-second personal best in his 2-mile victory at the Meet of Champions (9:05.3), and also won the event at New Englands (9:04.6). He placed sixth in the 5k at New Balance Nationals (14:32.4)
Evan Bedard
Peabody, senior The senior won the long jump (23 feet, 1.75 inches) at the Meet of Champions, then placed third (23-0.5) at New Englands. He also won the triple jump at the Northeast Invitational (45-8.5) and Coaches Invitational (46-3).
John Bianchi
Natick, junior A two-time cross-country All-Scholastic, the junior finished second in the mile at the Division 1 championships (4:14.95) and the Meet of Champions (4:13.08). He also won the 2-mile at the Northeast Invitational (9:21.05) in a personal best.
Reese Connors
Newton North, senior Connors was undefeated in the 300 meters, winning at the Bay State championships (34.70), Division 1 championships (33.94), and Meet of Champions (34.36). He helped fuel the Tigers’ Meet of Champions 4×400 relay (3:24.36) win.
Alex Jackson
Peabody, senior The Virginia-bound senior did not lose a throwing event in MIAA competition, culminating in Meet of Champions wins in the shot put (60 feet, 7.75 inches) and weight throw (65-1.5). At nationals, he was third in shot put (65-3.5).
Danny Killian
Winchester, senior Killian claimed the 55-meter dash at the Division 2 championships (6.45) and the Meet of Champions (6.46), and placed second in the 300 at the D2 championships (34.54). The Middlesex Liberty MVP will run at Brown.
Shamus Larnard
BC High, senior Also a cross-country All-Scholastic, the senior stormed to a double victory in the mile (4:14.14) and 2-mile (9:15.42) at the Division 1 meet, and also won the mile (4:11.09) at the Meet of Champions. He will run at Penn.
Lincoln Massaro
St. John’s Prep, senior The school record holder in the pentathlon, Massaro won the event with 3,404 points at the MSTCA Distance Classic, and placed second (3,583) at the MSTCA pentathlon state meet. At New Balance Nationals, he was ninth (3,493).
Ryan Pulpi
Reading, junior At the Division 2 meet, the junior broke the meet record in his 300-meters win (34.38) and also placed fifth in the 55 dash (6.57). The Middlesex All-Conference runner finished second in the 300 (34.53) at the Meet of Champions.
Ben Tavares
Weston, senior The senior rolled to victories in the 600 meters at the Dual County League championships (1:22.15), the Division 5 championships (1:20.59), and the Meet of Champions (1:21.21). At New Englands, he placed fourth (1:22.21).
Khai Yin
Lowell, senior The senior broke the 55-meter hurdle state record (7.31) at the Merrimack Valley championship and was runner-up at both the Division 1 championship (7.36) and Meet of Champions (7.31). At New Englands, he placed third (7.45).
