Quinn Caputo
Newton North, senior In his first varsity season, Caputo set school records in the 100 free, 100 back, 100 butterfly, 200 IM, and 500 free, along with three relays. The Cornell commit won the 200 IM (1:51.3) and 100 back (50.92) at states.
Owen Chandaria
Franklin, senior The South Sectional champion in the 50 free also anchored Franklin’s winning medley relay team. The senior placed third in the 50 and 100 free at states and owns program records in both events. He swims club for Crimson Aquatics.
Owen Curtin
Westford, senior The senior returned from injury to win the 100 butterfly (51.74) at states and was a member of the third-place 200 free relay team for the D1 runner-up Ghosts. He competes with North Shore Swim Club and will attend Sacred Heart.
Grant Dwyer
Salem, sophomore At the North Sectional, Dwyer placed second in the 200 free (1:42.92) and third in the 100 back (54.16). He followed it up with second-place finishes in the 200 IM (1:54.29) and 500 free (4:42.56) at the Division 2 state meet.
Alex Jylkka
Weston, senior The captain finished second in the 50 free (21.43) and won the 100 free (47.66) at states, lifting Weston to a Division 2 runner-up finish. The Dual County All-Star has thrice qualified for Easterns and contributed to two state titles.
Brandon Liu
Framingham, senior The D1 state champion in the breaststroke (57.17) also set a program record in the 50 free. The senior is a USA Swimming Futures qualifier, swims club with Charles River Aquatics, and plays trumpet in the Framingham band.
Andrew Lu
Acton-Boxborough, senior After winning the 100 back with a program-record time last season, the senior took the event at North Sectionals and earned a runner-up finish at Division 1 states. The honors student plans to major in biochemistry at Northeastern.
Porter Mulgrew
St. John’s Prep, freshman A member of the state champion 100 free relay, the freshman was third in the 200 IM and second in the 500 free (program-record 4:35.05) at states. The Boxford resident has three Bay State Games medals with the YNS Sharks.
Thomas Stone
Concord-Carlisle, senior The North Sectional champion finished third at states, surpassing his program record with a 462.70 score. The Dual County League Diver of the Year competes with Boston Area Diving and will dive at Emory University.
Brian Story
Haverhill, junior The MVC MVP won league titles in the 100 breaststroke (1:00.16) and 200 IM and anchored the winning 200 medley and 400 free relays. Story set a program record (1:55.76) with a runner-up finish in the 200 IM at states.
Brendan Titley
St. John’s Prep, freshman The only double-winner at North Sectionals with victories in the 100 free and 200 free, the freshman from Melrose earned three podium finishes at states and swam with the winning 400 free relay to help clinch a D1 championship.
Leo Tran
Sharon, sophomore After earning Hockomock League titles in the 100 freestyle and 200 free with a meet record (1:44.88), the sophomore won the 100 free at D1 states and was runner-up in the 200 free. He is a Futures qualifier in the 200 free.
