Alex Bajoras
St. John’s Prep, senior Finishing with a national championship, the senior heavyweight from Gloucester (56-5, 156-14 career) earned his second sectional title before taking second place at Division 1 states, All-States, and New Englands.
Joe Baker
Beverly, senior Beverly’s first All-State champion, the 165-pounder won each level of the Massachusetts postseason and finished the season 50-1. He added a Lowell Holiday title, qualified for New Englands a third time, and finished his career156-31.
Aidan Baum
Milford, senior Recording the most wins in Milford history (54-3 on the season to finish 189-20), the 144-pounder won his second state title and first All-State championship. He placed fifth at New Englands, and will wrestle at Wisconsin-La Crosse.
Caden Chase
Central Catholic, junior Rebounding from allowing a last-second takedown in the state finals, the 190-pound junior allowed only one takedown in his All-State championship run. He finished third at New Englands and 50-3 on the season.
Adriana DeGroat
Framingham, sophomore Completing her second 120-pound girls’ All-State title, the sophomore took second at New Englands, after placing fifth as a freshman. At 20-2 against girls (33-4 career), DeGroat earned All-American status by finishing eighth at nationals.
Vinny DeMaio
Methuen, junior The junior won his first state title at 175 pounds, followed by a third-place finish at All-States and fourth at New Englands. He went 53-4 on the year (183-20 career). He is a Merrimack Valley All-Conference first team selection in football.
Shelby Galex
Northeast, senior The senior captain made her final run count with her second All-State championship and first New England title at 152 pounds, after reaching the finals as a junior. Next year she will wrestle at D’Youville University in Buffalo, N.Y.
Cole Glynn
Central Catholic, senior Not only did the senior earn his second All-State championship, but the 113-pounder brought valuable points to the Raiders, who challenged for state and All-State titles despite a young squad. He went 56-4 and will attend Michigan.
Braedon Goes
St. John’s Prep, senior The senior defeated a former state champion in the Division 1 and All-State finals, finishing third at New Englands and Nationals. He went from never wrestling when he entered St. John’s Prep to going 58-2 in his final year.
Matthew Harrold
Haverhill, junior The junior reached the New England finals for the second time after securing his first All-State title at 215 pounds. A part of Haverhill’s state and All-State team titles last season, Harrold has a 167-23 career record.
Antoine Jackman
Greater Lowell, sophomore The sophomore finished runner-up at 106 pounds in All-States and New Englands and earned All-American status with a fourth-place finish at nationals. He has two Vo-Tech titles and, after going 45-7 this winter, is 98-13 overall.
Hillary MacDonald
Lawrence, junior The second-year wrestler repeated as girls’ All-State champion at 185 pounds, completing her run with a major decision over the opponent who pinned her at states. She was runner-up at New Englands and 22-5 on the year.
Amelyiah Martinez
Lowell, junior She clinched Lowell’s girls’ All-State team championship in 2024 by pinning all her opponents. She repeated at 235 pounds, pinning her way through girls’ All-States and New Englands. She finished 23-0 with a Lowell Holiday title.
Yandel Morales
Andover, junior After earning his third All-State title and 200th win, the 132-pounder finally got his New England title to cap an undefeated run. Also a Pan-American and national finalist, Morales led Andover to a 23-8 team record.
Amada Moundele
Lowell, senior The school’s first female wrestler, Moundele’s leadership led Lowell to the 2024 girls’ All-State tournament. The 165-pounder finished second there, but won as a senior, adding fourth place at New Englands and compiling a 21-2 record.
Livi Polansky
Bridgewater-Raynham, soph. A late escape made her second All-State title electrifying. A 100-pound grappler, she wrestled 106 pounds at co-ed sectionals, placing fifth. The state freestyle champion will wrestle for Choate Rosemary Hall next season.
Petey Rincan Jr.
Billerica, junior Now a two-time All-State champion in Massachusetts after conquering New Hampshire as a freshman, the junior 120-pounder has a title and two third-place finishes at New Englands. He went 51-1, raising his career mark to 159-2.
Janessa Santiago
Methuen, senior In her only high school year in Massachusetts, the senior recorded a pin for her All-State title, then won the 145-pound weight class at New Englands. She had an undefeated season, winning by fall in nine of her 10 postseason bouts.
James Tildsley
Shawsheen, junior Firing off 51 pins and 11 technical falls in his 62-0 junior year, the 150-pounder is the first in Massachusetts to not let an opponent reach six minutes in a season. Tildsley has two All-State and New England championships.
Johnny Woodall
Franklin, freshman The 106-pounder started off by winning the Lowell Holiday tournament, then became a Division 1 state champ, All-State champ, and New England’s best. After a 54-0 season, he earned third place at nationals.
