A man accused of shooting his wife, a teenage girl, and a young boy and stabbing another teenage girl inside a Mattapan apartment on Monday is being held without bail, prosecutors said.

Calvin Stokes, 46, of Mattapan, was arraigned Tuesday and ordered held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing on April 28, according to the Suffolk District Attorney’s office.

At 11:14 p.m. on Monday, officers responded to a reported shooting on Regis Road and found a 47-year-old woman, 16-year-old girl, and 4-year-old boy suffering from gunshot wounds, police said. An 18-year-old woman had been stabbed.

They were taken to hospitals with injuries that were serious but not life-threatening, police said.

According to a police report filed in court, the wife’s daughter told officers she was upstairs when she heard gunshots.

“She went down to the first floor and observed the suspect holding a firearm and pointing it at her and her sisters,’’ the report said.

The daughter said “a struggle then ensued’’ and Stokes “pushed her hard,’’ the report said.

Stokes then went to the kitchen, got a knife, and unsuccessfully tried to stab her mother in the stomach, the report said.

The daughter “then attempted to disarm the suspect of the knife but was stabbed in her left hand during the process,’’ the report said.

Witnesses said Stokes then drove away in a Dodge Durango, police said.

“Officers have had multiple interactions with the suspect in this vehicle,’’ the report said.

Stokes was taken into custody shortly after 3 a.m. after he allegedly returned to the home and asked a police officer what had happened, according to the report.

The officer said a Dodge Durango slowly pulled up to him, and the driver rolled down the window and asked, “Hey, what happened? This is my house,’’ he said, according to the report.

“When the officer inquired about the male’s name, he immediately fled onto Cummins Highway, turning right and possibly heading toward Roslindale,’’ the report said.

After a pursuit, officers arrested Stokes when he pulled over on Rowe Street.

During the booking process, an officer saw that Stokes “had a large bandage covering a cut on his left middle finger,’’ the report said.

Stokes told police that he had sustained this injury “this morning and bandaged it up,’’ the report said.

Stokes is facing charges of three counts of armed assault to murder, one count of assault to kill, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery on a family or household member, failure to stop for police, along with several gun charges and motor vehicle infractions, prosecutors said.

A lawyer for Stokes couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.
